A commitment to putting aside our preferences and beliefs for how we like to teach and basing decisions on research and evidence. This means putting children and not adults first. Curriculum plans have been developed that cover the eight key learning areas and give suggested time allocations. Content is taught across a two-year cycle. These plans are reviewed and updated by the leadership team at the end of each semester.
At Canadian Lead PS, the curriculum is delivered through an agreed whole school evidence informed instructional model. Lessons follow the below structure and are used from Foundation - Year 6 by all teachers.
